Accessibility statement

Last updated 13 October 2026

We want Show Me Where to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who are unwell, anxious or tired.

What we’ve done

  • Text uses Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for people with low vision, at a large default size.
  • Plain English throughout, with medical terms explained.
  • Pages work with keyboard only, zoom to 400% and adapt to phones and tablets.
  • Light and dark themes follow your device setting.
  • Animations are reduced if your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limitations

  • The 3D models are visual by nature and can’t be fully described to a screen reader. Every explorer also has a written summary in plain words, a list of key measurements and a description of each option, which screen readers can read.
  • Turning the 3D model needs a mouse, touchscreen or trackpad. The view buttons can be used with a keyboard.
  • The 3D models need a browser with WebGL graphics. Some locked-down hospital computers turn this off.
